I have a degree in Criminology and a strange sense of the macabre, a great marriage for a psycho killer thriller to be written. And so I did. I’m hoping that by sharing the odd excerpt I may whet your appetite to want to read more!
Two years ago my life, as I knew it, came to a tragic end and so I have recreated myself and allowed the writer I thought I could never be, to show herself. My experiences in my own life and those with the police – both victim and offender – have allowed me huge insight and an ability to maintain a sense of realism. This for me alone is crucial – my brain works like that. I need evidence and fact for it to be believable and hopefully I have created something that you will be drawn into, horrified with and left feeling slightly more disturbed than when you first began reading …. or perhaps before when you first began……because if this has created a niggling hang nail of desire for you to rip it off and take a look, well then, my friend, you are as twisted as I am…..
You have been nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award by William Chasterson. This is an award created by Edge of Night recognizing bloggers from all over the world for their hard work. It is meant to recognize bloggers, give them encouragement, motivation to continue blogging, and basically just let them know that they are loved and appreciated. Being a blogger is not as easy as the silly name suggests and many times we get discouraged but this award serves as a reminder of why we started blogging in the first place.

Interesting site, Kaitking… I am intrigued… However… I was plenty disturbed long before I began reading this and probably at least as twisted… That just makes me more anxious to read all your posts. Looking forward to lingering here with possibilities of becoming even more disturbed… Thanks for sharing with us your unique and imaginative mind…
Hope your evening is most beautiful…

🙂 Oh I hate it when i get a ticket! Has been a while but i do have a heavy foot….;) Don’t drive as much now so that’s most probably why!

I have never met a lady who hasn’t got a “heavier foot,” despite how pretty it may be!
You don’t drive as much, and you’re reinventing yourself. Was there more to the injuries than you let on?

🙂 – I guess…maybe…i don’t like to think so tho….in denial! But yeah …i am wordless! What the hell! This doesn’t happen….lol

You aren’t wordless…that I can swear to! The words are forming inside, like a storm behind the clouds.
Let nature take it’s course. Nature must have her way. And so must we. Everyone is only human with a need to share stuff.

Thanks – I might do that ….:) And yes, acceptance is the key but I’m struggling the second time around with such a devastating blow and retriggering of old nerve damage from a failed back surgery which was minor for everyone else he has operated on but not for me…the universe has another plan as I say! 🙂

Kait…I believe in exactly that! I have faith in God, and no matter how messed up things are in this world, we don’t know His plans.
There are reasons for what happens…to countries and to people. But there’s a verse in the bible which says
“all things work together for good to those who love the Lord.” (Romans 8:28)
You are right, God has something else planned for you, and your loved ones.

nice to meet you fellow twisted sister 🙂 lol. I love criminology and also am fascinated with forensics- the idea of AnOtHeR 4 years at uni straight away and not earning properly, put me out of the race but would’ve loved it. Am sure you’ll be happy in NZ, maybe the weather is less predictable but you get used to it(only in winter really). And totally get where you’re coming from about your mum – mine was the same! 😉
